He has trouble reading and writing, but has a very creative mind. This is a story about an 8-year old boy who is dyslexic. How could I miss this in the list of best Bollywood movies for children? I guarantee children will learn to value what they have and be grateful for everything. It will not only win your hearts but also your children’s hearts. The script is brilliant and the story, heart-warming. How the story ends is very interesting and I will not ruin it for you. The boy decides to take part in the same to win the third prize – a pair of shoes. Soon, a marathon is announced in the village. When the young girl misplaced her only pair of shoe, the siblings decide to share the pair. They made do with what they get and that is not a lot. The story revolves around a family of four who cannot afford to live. Though an adaptation of the Iranian academy award-nominated film, Children of Heaven, this is a masterpiece. This movie is definitely one of the Best Hindi Movies for Kids. Chillar party won the National Film Award for Best Children’s film. Children get the power and learn the importance of standing up for what they believe is right even when no one supports you. I personally know children who love watching this movie. This Bollywood movie gives children of the urban area a chance to step out of their comfort zone since most of them are pampered and even selfish. An incident involving dogs exposes the kids to the world of politics. One day, they come in contact with an urchin who cleans cars when his uncle takes a holiday. This movie is about a group of urban children who live in the same apartment building. This is my personal favourite Hindi movie for kids.
